We reserve the right to limit the access to our website or to parts of it.
1. Accounts
You need an account for most activities on our platform, including to purchase and access content or to submit content for publication. When setting up and maintaining your account, you must provide and continue to provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. Keep your password somewhere safe, because you’re responsible for all activity associated with your account. If you suspect someone else is using your account, let us know by contacting our Support Team. We may request some information from you to confirm that you are indeed the owner of your account.
2. Content Enrollment
When you enroll in a course or other content, you get a license from us to view it via the EPDL Training Services and no other use. Don’t try to transfer or resell content in any way.
As a student, when you enroll in a course or other content, whether it’s free or paid content, you are getting a license from EPDL Training to view the content via the EPDL Training platform and Services, and EPDL Training is the licensor of record. Content is licensed, and not sold, to you. This license does not give you any right to resell the content in any manner (including by sharing account information with a purchaser or illegally downloading the content and sharing it on other sites or platforms).
In legal, more complete terms, EPDL Training grants you (as a student) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for which you have paid all required fees, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes through the Services, in accordance with these Terms and any conditions or restrictions associated with the particular content or feature of our Services. All other uses are expressly prohibited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works of, sublicense, or otherwise transfer or use any content unless we give you explicit permission to do so in a written agreement signed by a EPDL Training authorized representative.
3. Payments, Credits, and Refunds
EPDL Training collects all fees and pays out all instructors through third party providers. Each provider is its own company, and EPDL Training isn’t responsible for its performance.
No refunds are offered for course enrollment fees or any other fees collected by the Service.
Course enrollment fees or any other portion of the Service may be changed at any time without prior notice.
4. Content and Behavior Rules
You can only use EPDL Training for lawful purposes. You’re responsible for all the content that you post on our platform. You should keep the reviews, questions, posts, courses and other content you upload in line with our Trust & Safety Guidelines and the law, and respect the intellectual property rights of others. We can ban your account for repeated or major offenses. If you think someone is infringing your copyright on our platform, let us know.
If we are put on notice that your course or content violates the law or the rights of others or if we believe your content or behavior is unlawful, inappropriate, or objectionable, we may remove your content from our platform.
5. EPDL Training’s Rights to Content You Post
You retain ownership of content you post to our platform, including your courses. We’re allowed to share your content to anyone through any media, including promoting it via advertising on other websites.
The content you post as a student or instructor (including courses) remains yours. By posting courses and other content, you allow EPDL Training to reuse and share it but you do not lose any ownership rights you may have over your content.
6. Payments and Billing
The enrollment fee will be listed at the time of your purchase. Note that payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
To make payment for a course fee, you must provide a payment method. By providing your billing information during checkout, you grant us and our payment service providers the right to process payment for the then-applicable fees via the payment method we have on record for you.
7. Disclaimers
Content available through the Service or presented in any course represents the opinions and judgments of an information provider, user, or other person or entity not connected with us. We do not endorse, nor are we responsible for the accuracy or reliability of, any opinion, advice, or statement made by anyone other than an authorized EPDL Training spokesperson speaking in his/her official capacity.
You and we agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, contractor, or agency relationship exists between us. It may happen that our platform is down, either for planned maintenance or because something goes down with the site. You accept that you will not have any recourse against us in any of these types of cases where things don’t work out right.
8. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE OR ANY OTHER EPDL TRAINING PARTY BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR OF ANY WEB SITE REFERENCED OR LINKED TO FROM THE SERVICE.
FURTHER, NEITHER WE,NOR ANY OTHER EPDL TRAINING PARTY, SHALL BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR ANY COURSE OR OTHER THIRD PARTY GOODS AND SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH THE SERVICE OR FOR ASSISTANCE IN CONDUCTING COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS OF THE SITE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY TRANSACTION BETWEEN A STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR.
9. Indemnification
Upon a request by us, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us and the other EPDL Training Parties harmless from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees that arise from your violation of these Terms of Service or any of the other Governing Documents, or other negligent or wrongful conduct. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.
10. Miscellaneous
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and the other Governing Documents, constitute the entire agreement between you and EPDL Training concerning the Service and the services provided by EPDL Training. If any provision of any such document is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions thereof, which shall remain in full force and effect. EPDL Training’s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Terms of Service or any of the other Governing Documents shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any provision of these Terms of Service. EPDL Training may assign its rights and duties under these Terms of Service or any of the other Governing Documents to any party at any time without notice to you.
Most communication between EPDL Training and you will be sent and received electronically. You agree that all electronic communication between EPDL Training and you shall satisfy any legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
Any rights of EPDL Training not expressly granted herein are reserved.
